Cricket Update

The boys had a tough match this week. They lost to these guys last time they played so there was a little tension, a little more focus. There was even the group huddle before the start of the match. Dimuth, who is the team’s strongest run scorer lost his wicket cheaply. There was a heated discussion or two with one of the fielders. A rough call on an out that shouldn’t have been and so the pressure built through the match. The boys came home with an over to spare and it was a great example of a team effort. No stars, just gritty determination. The kiwi crickets could learn from these blokes.
